Trying To Move Forward-Terror and Awe

This project is messing with my head at the moment and what will the bull that life throws at you almost daily, I've been neglecting it. I'm trying to come at it form a slightly different angle just to get some things going while I can. Forget about the sublime, I'm breaking it down for now. 

I'm starting with the contrasting emotions of terror and awe and what that might look like on someone's face. Bellow are some observations I have done of myself with these in mind. I'm haven't put every single experiment but the one's that have worked in some way.

Awe was quite a hard thing to show, with the eyes especially as just focused on them, it just looked like they were looking up. 

I think mono printing and charcoal worked very well with terror and might be something I can take forward. I now want to move away from the face and look at elements such as Chaos and Order. I will continue this in the next post.
