Henrietta Stuart

I saw the above piece by Herietta Stuart and was caught by how "simple" the shapes where, they don't give away too much but you still know what you're looking at. The use of colours is also something that drew me in. It is similar to the colour pallet I like to use but the paint has been worked in a different way to my own. To me it feels as though she has taken the colour stat stood out to her the most in a landscape and used them in a much bigger way to create something full of vibrancy and contrast. I would like to try this way of using colour for myself.
