How Will It Suspend? Research.

I need to find some ways that my "globe" could be suspended. At this point in time it is quite heavy and i think it will been to be suspended from three separate points. I have done a search to find some examples  that might help me. 

• Trimpin, Redhorn Installation, 2015

• Bellow: Chris Burden (need to triple check this). This might br s good way of suspending it as then pressure won't be put on the top go the "globe" which would eliminate the risk of it breaking. This might also work well with the idea that it is more of a boulder like piece, being part of the mountain. It might also be a good idea to use climbing rope for it. 

• Luis Camnitzer showing a similar way of hanging but with a rounder object. The way this had been wrapped and tied into one rope leading to the celling would probably work better for what I'm doing.

 

I am going to put a pin in this one as I am going to finish the piece it's self before my deadline and work out how to suspend between then and the exhibition.
